Several years later we continue to wonder at how far the outcome of the project exceeded our hopes and expectations, something we credit overwhelmingly to Jane's involvement. Jane's plan for our first floor including a kitchen and powder room incorporated several simple, but brilliant design interventions that created a new flow of light, attention and movement throughout the entire first floor of our house. The new kitchen is a pleasure work in. The powder room is cleverly integrated into the space. The plan also allowed for exciting new uses of space, including a sitting area with an open view to the garden beyond. Jane's plans for two upstairs bathrooms were simple, elegant, efficient and functional.
